I hate thanksgiving… it’s a mythical holiday built on a myth that people started in promoting Caucasians. I really hate the holiday LOL (If you wanna see what I’m talking about read Lies My Teacher Told me by Dr. James W. Loewen. That book and his other book, Lies Across my Teacher; you’ll rethink your whole education in High School).
Did you see the footage on CNN that one of the videos that were recording, one of the vehicles that were shooting out some cameras looks like a police vehicle. That’s a scary thought!
I know, the origins of the holiday are complete hogwash — I remember when I did study abroad all my European friends made fun of me for calling my family on that day 🙂 It’s only an excuse to eat, and I guess be with family, if you consider that celebratory :S
